We believe that God most high, Creator of all things, sent His son to die on the cross to take away the sins of the world. We believe Jesus Christ is the son of the Living God and He came to set the captives free, to give abundant life, to seek and to save those who are lost. We believe salvation comes only by grace through faith. We trust nothing but acceptance of the blood of Jesus Christ and Him crucified as the payment for our sin to bring salvation. We believe that at salvation, we are filled with the Spirit of the most high God and supernaturally made alive in Christ. We are adopted into the into the family of God, we are joint heirs with Jesus.
Man is a three part being, we consist of body, soul and spirit. When we are saved, we are transferred out of the kingdom of darkness and into the kingdom of Light. Our spirit then belongs to the Most High God, and we are seated in heavenly places. We believe Christians can be demonized (oppressed), not owned or possessed by evil spirits. The level of oppression depends on things like generational curses, trauma and sin. After salvation, our body and soul (the mind will and emotions) are what can remain affected by demonic influence. We must renew our minds to the mind of Christ. It is agreement with the lies of the enemy that empower the demonic in our lives. The battleground is in our minds. (2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.) We have all authority, when we tell the demonic to leave, they must leave. However, they will come right back if their rights are not cancelled, and our minds are still in agreement with the lies and false beliefs. The rights the enemy has to us must be renounced and cancelled and then the removal of demonic is successful.
Although deliverance focuses on removing the demonic, we believe freedom is not the absence of demonic, it is the presence of the Spirit of God. (2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.) The absence of demonic is a clean house, but freedom is when that clean house is filled with the Spirit of God. It is vital to spend time filling up on truth from the Holy Spirit as part of the session. Afterwards, it is imperative to fill your mind with the truth of God’s word (John 8:31-32 So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.”) The fight for our freedom does not end at deliverance, we must continue to allow truth to penetrate our hearts and minds. (Luke 11:24-26 When an unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, and finding none it says, “I will return to my house from which I came. And when it comes, it finds the house swept and put in order. Then it goes and brings seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and dwell there. And the last stage of that person is worse than the first.”) It will take a renewed commitment to truth to remain free. The enemy does not like to lose territory. He will fight to get it back.
