We recently had back to back sessions where the Lord brought up social media. He said it can easily become an addiction.  In one session he said that Facebook can heighten the need for affirmation.  As you post, it is natural to look for responses.  This actually increases the fear of man.

Trusting in our own wisdom is a trap.  Our own opinions can become an idol. We can become self righteous in the sharing of truth.  We can feel esteemed by heading up a group or by having a position of influence.  We can look for acceptance and it can result in pride or shame. We can end up being a respecter of persons. We can feel rejected.  It can become a minefield of emotional issues.  The enemy plays with this and intertwines it with the past wounds we have.

In another session, the Lord said social media is a distraction.  People change their make up and hair according to the acceptance of others.  We can look for the affirmation of others instead of the Lord.  There is witchcraft sent through portals.  He said when we choose to watch a video on Youtube we need to first seek His approval, then pray the blood of Jesus over the computer so that no spirits or assignments can transfer to us. He said the enemy lures us to social media by telling us we can be a light and a witness but what he is really doing is letting those who follow him keep tabs on you to curse you with more strength.

Be wise.  Be aware. Be cautious.

It is appealing to have knowledge from outside our own grasp.  This was the original temptation of the fall of man.  We were meant daily to connect with Adonai for our needs.  He met with Adam and Eve in the cool of the day.  If we want to become what Christ has intended we must have a regular time of connection with Him.  We need a perspective bigger than ours.  We must be very careful of the source, and test the spirits.  

I John 4: 1-4 Loved ones, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see if they are from God. For many false prophets have gone out into the world. ^{[a] 2} You know the Ruach Elohim by this—every spirit that acknowledges that Messiah Yeshua has come in human flesh is from God, ³ but every spirit that does not acknowledge Yeshua is not from God. This is the spirit of the anti-messiah, which you have heard is coming and now is already in the world.

Each person in the body of Christ has been given gifts of the Spirit for them to fulfill the call of God on their lives.  We can all expect hardship, Jesus made it clear the world will hate us and that we must persevere.  This is especially true if you are a prophet by gifting  (words of knowledge that come randomly) or by anointing (you carry the office of a prophet to lead others into increased awareness of God).  Prophets are ministers of the Most High God whose lives cannot be compared to others.  The Father asks some really difficult things of prophets in scripture (marry a prostitute, lie on your left side for 390 days etc) Be okay with being strange.  Be okay with being very uncomfortable. It is for a higher purpose than just your life.

Prophecy is given according to our faith. Romans 12:6 We have gifts that differ according to the grace that was given to us—if prophecy, in proportion to our faith;  Prophets need to expect to live an uncomfortable lifestyle where great demands are put on their faith.  Faith comes by hearing the Word of God.  That is both the written and the Rhema word.  When the troubles come, we need to run to the Word who became flesh.  Ground yourself in the Word. Wash your mind in the word. Meditate on it. Live it.

Prophets are often misunderstood.  They see the move of God before it happens.  People who are asleep will often lash out at those who are called to open the eyes of the blind.  Denial will call you the problem.  Remember that your gift is truly that..a gift.  It didn’t originate with you. Every good gift comes from the Father.  You cannot take pride in the gift.  You don’t have to defend yourself when under attack.  God takes care of His prophets.  Remain humble, walk with God and overcome evil with good. Bless those who curse you.  This is the will of God for you.

We prayed for a man who grew up in a Christian home, but he was paralyzed to move forward in his life.  He was seeking freedom from anger, bitterness and anxiety.  He wanted to be able to walk in the calling God had for him.  He had worked hard to build a relationship with God, but he felt stuck.

At birth, he was hit with generational curses to silence his voice.  The root of these was from both sides of the family.  A woman way back in his family line had murdered her husband out of anger.  This allowed the women in his family to become bitter against men and to dominate them. The men then retreated into silence to avoid conflict and they abdicated their position of spiritual authority.

There was also a strong theme of abandonment because of a genocide that had taken place many generations before.  The women felt alone when the men were killed.  Abandonment also came later through a pregnant woman who was left alone to raise the baby.

In his life abandonment came as a small child when he witnessed his father’s outbursts of anger toward the mother.  In response, as a baby, he learned to fear conflict and hide from anger.  He had a fear of connecting to people and later in life, this pulled him into connecting to people through pornography, because in that relationship he wouldn’t be rejected.

The guilt from the hiding and the pornography played like a loop on repeat until his identity became warped.  He felt like he had more in common with the demonic than he did with Christ. It left him feeling caged with a demon next to him and the powers of the generational curses locked him inside this perpetual place of  judgement.

The enemy broke his confidence by telling him:

• Life is too hard, too tiring, it will take too much out of you.
• You will never be respected, you are worthless.
• You will never truly have a father.
• You will always have to fight for your acceptance and joy.
• You will have to fight for everything.

The Lord’s truth:

He has rest in God.  God can carry him.  God holds him in the palm of His hand. He cannot be plucked out of it. God has great plans for him.  He will be known by others, people will have the chains broken off of them.

You are mine.  I will never leave you.  You will walk with me and I with you.  You are called to intimacy in Me.  Nothing will stop me for having intimacy with you.  

 People will accept you because they know me.  Other people will reject you because you know me.  The only acceptance you need is Mine.  I will never leave you.  You are no longer guilty.  The judgement is not the jail cell for you, it is my blood covering you, you are clean.  

The enemy used his gift of discernment against him by overwhelming him with other people’s emotions and bondage.  It felt like his own baggage.  He also tied his emotions to the lies that:

• He is responsible for other people’s emotions.
• If he doesn’t protect his family from the repercussions of their actions then he isn’t a good son or brother.
• How can he stand in the gap for others if he fails to stand in the gap for his own family in this way?
• Conflict brings fear, he must hide.
• His happiness is tied to his family’s emotional state.
• Sacrifice yourself to save them.
• You can never truly be free.

Through these lies, the enemy crippled his motivation, his emotional state and his happiness.

The Lord’s truth:

I AM responsible.  You are the conduit through which my responsibility flows. You cannot protect them, you can only guide them.  Your happiness cannot be rooted in other people’s feelings.  You can root it in what you choose to do in the conflict, not to run or hide, but to be a voice.  This is what you were built for.  The results are up to God. You are only to listen and speak God’s words, let the rest be in My hand. You cannot hide and be a voice at the same time.  Nobody can hear a muffled cry.

 I have already sacrificed myself to save them, you just have to show my sacrifice.  Sacrificing yourself is a burden no one is meant to carry. 

  You are righteous, you are free.  The Chainbreaker has come.  The only thing you have to know is who you are- You are a child of the Most High God, His faithful servant in whom God is most pleased.-  If you can show that to others, you will be able to relate to them.  Respect comes from being genuine. There is so much richness in knowing someone else-not through pornography that meets physical needs through the mind- I will give you the person and you will walk the path together.  You will find pleasure in ME and I in you.  Your confidence will come from knowing MY voice. It will become easier as the other voices cease.

You are free.  Your refuge is not in hiding to avoid conflict.  Hide in me and become the peacemaker.  

The authority of the believer is sufficient through Christ.  His power is made perfect in our weakness.  Everything that we ever needed done for us was done on the cross before the foundation of the world.  Through the blood of Jesus we have access to every spiritual blessing, all authority has been given to us.

Why does that feel like it isn’t enough?

We can rebuke the enemy all day long and yet we are still harassed and have destructive schemes playing out in our lives.  Why is that? Human spirits.  You can stand in every truth of scripture and walk in your authority and still be terribly oppressed because of what Satan has done to manipulate free will.

A human spirit is actually the soul of man when the conscious or subconscious mind is absent from the body.  There are many reasons how and why this happens.  Consciously, people have learned to astral travel to attain position and authority in other dimensions.  New Age practices teach followers that astral traveling is moving through levels of worlds, fighting the opposition to achieve a blissful state of serene beauty and power.  This is a deception. The dark forces they are opposing are actually fellow human beings on earth.  The enemy tells them to destroy and conquer the opposition in order that destiny can be fulfilled.  What they are actually doing is taking spiritual weapons and using them to destroy the lives of people.  People who are aware of spiritual warfare and walking in the identity Christ died to give, are a huge focus for their attacks.

Then there is the subconscious astral traveling.  This happens through trauma, often skillfully manipulated trauma for the very reason of splitting the soul and causing so much terror that the soul leaves the body.  The body is seen as a place of pain and torture, the astral plane is seen as a place of freedom. This is a deception. When a soul leaves the body, it can be captured.  Terror done to the soul can be felt by the body. It can cause illness and disease. A soul leaving the body opens a portal for other beings to inhabit the body.  This is not possession, it is trespassing.  Great harm can be funneled into the body physically by human spirits trespassing.  (People have described this as wanting to climb out of their skin, climb the walls, like they are watching their life as a spectator from above or away from the body, feeling absent from their surroundings, not able to connect with anyone, feeling like they aren’t operating their body,  etc)

If you have sudden inexplicable anxiety, pain or illness, you are most likely in a spiritual battle without even having awareness.  You can be renouncing sin, rebuking the enemy and claiming scripture and still not feeing the victory.  You are most likely in an attack by human spirits.  They can go where demons can’t.  They don’t need permission, they don’t need a curse or sin to allow them like demons do.  They have free will, the gift Jesus died to ensure for us.  So do you.  You can use your free will to stop their access.

How do you stop it?  

• Be aware of texts, emails and phone calls.  How do you feel after you receive them? People can travel with their technological contacts to you.
• Be aware that other people will access those you love in order to access you.  It may not be the person who is contacting you that is astral traveling, it could be someone they are connected with that is trying to reach you.
• Have strong boundaries for technology just before you sleep.  Social media is full of leylines (supernatural highways) and human spirits are traveling to invade your being.
• Cleanse every electronic device in your home with the blood of Jesus and close every avenue of access in His name.
• Eat foods that do not inflame the cells of your body.  Human spirits aggravate the cells of the body and cause incredible stress to the system.  Ease the toxic load on your body by not consuming highly processed, highly toxic foods.
• Dissipate all astral rituals concerning you in Jesus name and ask the angels of God to remove the human spirits to be taken to the throne of the Most High God for judgement.
• Rebuke the enemy in Jesus name and ask the Lord to rebuke the cosmic beings and entities that only He can command. (Read the book of Jude and ask the Lord to show you how that relates to human spirits and spiritual battle with high level evil beings)
• Ask the Lord to rescue any trapped parts of you in other dimensions.
• There are undetectable sound waves being transmitted that scatter souls and call them into the astral realm. Worship the Lord to settle your soul and bring you into alignment with the Most High God.
• Practice forgiveness, even of horrific evil.  Hatred and bitterness tie you in the spiritual realm to the person who harmed you and it allows them continued access.
• Search your heart regularly and ask the Lord to reveal wounds that allow attachments to darkness.  Strongholds are hidden in wounds.
• Be aware that innocent groups can actually have an underground occult sub- group.  NOTHING is out of the question.  No matter the cause, medical, educational, even church or a worship concert, there are people pretending to be Christians or harmless helpers that are coming to the events to practice witchcraft and weave spiritual webs over you.  At all times, in all ways, be in prayer before the Lord for His kingdom to be established in you.  You are the light of the world, SHINE!

Your trial is someone else’s hope. The word of your testimony of the faithfulness of God in your trial will bring light into someone else’s darkness. Our obedience through the trial is endurance that brings the glory of God. Somehow we think that obedience protects us from harm, yet that is not the purpose of obedience.  The cross was the ultimate act of submission, it led Christ into harm’s way.

1 Peter 1:7King James Version (KJV)⁷ That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

Paul and Silas were jailed for freeing a slave girl from an evil spirit.  They were stripped, severely beaten and chained in the deepest part of the prison.  Their response was to sing and praise God for all the other prisoners to hear.  Heaven responded and all the doors flew open and the chains fell off of every prisoner.  The jailer and his family were saved.  Paul and Silas were escorted to freedom by the officials.  Instead of convalescing, they went to a gathering of fellow believers and encouraged them.

From this we learn your praise in the fiery trial will free you and those around you.  It will bring help from the most unlikely of places. Impossible circumstances will be the perfect setting for God to show His miraculous intervention.  People around you will fall before The Most High and they will be full of joy.  The oppressors in your life will become your helpers.  The body of Christ will be encouraged and fed by the testimony of your faithful God.  Your choice to praise in the trial turns the intended harm into the glory of God.  Truly, this is the sacrifice of praise brought before the Father that rises like sweet incense.

When I had deliverance, I was a new creature and I felt fantastic for about 2 months.  I prayed warfare and put my armor on, spent time in worship and in the Word.  I was doing all the right things to “walk it out.’ Soon though, my emotions and circumstances seemed very familiar. It seemed like my deliverance didn’t work.  It did work, but I had more work to do. I needed inner healing. I am still in inner healing to this day.
